Can I taste the cake before I place an order?
Cake tasting boxes are available on certain dates for WEDDING CLIENTS who have already made a deposit for their cake. Unfortunately we do not provide tasters for non-wedding clients, though be sure to keep an eye out on our social media as we hold the odd cake tasting give-away competition!
What flavours do you have?
Here at Copper Fork Cakes we love a little mixin' and matchin' so we give you a list of both cake and buttercream filling flavours and let you decide which combo to go with!
Cake Flavours: Chocolate Mud, Vanilla Bean, Caramel, Raspberry Swirl, Banana, Carrot, Red Velvet, Cinnamon Crumble
Buttercream Filling Flavours: Chocolate Fudge, Vanilla Bean, White Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Spiced Caramel, Espresso, Fresh Raspberry, Fresh Strawberry, Nutella, Oreo, Peanut Butter, Caramel Toasted Coconut
Do you deliver?
Yes! Delivery fee is $30 for within 40 minutes of Collaroy and $50 for within 90 minutes. Pick-up is also available from our studio in Collaroy. Please note delivery is required for all wedding cakes and cakes with 3 or more tiers.
Can my florist do the flowers on my cake?
Unfortunately, we do not allow anyone else to dress our wedding cakes. The finishing touches are often the entirety of the design and something we really pride ourselves on! In select circumstances we will work together with your florist and have them supply the cake flowers. We will then prepare them and place them ahead of delivery!
Do you do gluten free/dairy free/allergy friendly cakes?
We offer a delicious GF chocolate cake, however we can not guarantee that it doesn't contain traces of gluten as we work from a studio that handles large amounts of wheat flour. We do not currently offer any vegan options, sorry!
Do you ship cake/cookies?
If its cake you're after- you'll need to be in Sydney! But if cookies are more your thing- you're in luck! We ship our cookies Australia wide!
How far in advanced do I need to order?
Your best bet is to get in quick as our weekend spaces tend to fill up quickly. For wedding cakes we ask for for at least 2 months notice. For all other cakes, 3 weeks is preferred! Orders can be made for up to 6 months in advanced.
Do you use fondant?
I do not cover any of my cakes in fondant. All cakes are iced in swiss meringue buttercream. There are more than a few places in Sydney to get stunning fondant cakes- but not here, sorry!
Do you bake from scratch?
Sure do! Everything is made by us using the best quality ingredients we can get our little hands on!
Do I have to pay now?
We ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of the booking in order to secure the date. Your booking is NOT confirmed until this deposit is received and your spot on the date of your event may be given to another client. We will send you a friendly reminder the week of your event for the remaining amount.
